Liberal Party Vice President Teena McQueen says Liberal women should celebrate that they get where they are without gender quotas.
Ms McQueen said the Liberal Party had a president for the first time in 15 years that was a young female who had no political affiliations and ascended through the ranks with hard work and determination.
"She did this the hard way. She has the mantra, work hard, work smart... and best of all, she does not believe in quotas," she said.
"We should celebrate as Liberal women that get where we are without quotas."
