The federal government is going to spend $1.2 billion on 800,000 cut-price flight tickets which will allow people to fly around the country to revive the tourism sector. Some tickets will have a 50 per cent discount on them and will be valid from 1 April to 31 July to 13 initial regions with more flights to be added. Part of the $1.2 billion is small business loans of up to $5 million to help the JobKeeper transition with 10 years to repay and a two year repayment holiday.
