Young man in hospital after workplace accident near Gympie

A YOUNG man was taken to Gympie Hospital late last night after a reported workplace accident involving power tools.

Paramedics arrived at the scene after receiving reports of an incident involving a power tool at about 8.35pm, and found a male patient aged in his 20s in need of medical attention.

He was taken to the hospital with lower arm injuries but was in a stable condition, Queensland Ambulance Service sources said.
