You little beauty for barrel racing

WHEN Gunalda barrel racing competitors Jayden and Tamika Anderson competed in the NBHA World Youth Championships in America late last month, they did so with plenty of Australian spirit.

The pair was part of a five-member Australian team to fly to Jackson, Mississippi, for the competition.

While the competition was fierce and the talent extraordinary, there were plenty of opportunities to kick back and have some fun.

Doing their part, Tamika and Jayden joined their fellow Australian competitors to pay homage to the iconic Irwin family.

The khaki gear was out in full force and the crowd loved the Australian team’s take on the Irwin family.

Tamika put her hair in pigtails to be Bindi while Jayden donned on a blonde win to share a striking resemblance to Bob.

“It was a lot of fun and the crowd loved it,” Tamika said. “The Irwin family is popular in America and they instantly knew who we were.”
