Working together to support region

NOW more than ever local businesses need to unite together to promote the benefits of shopping locally in our region.

The Gympie Times is committed to promoting local and is launching a six month Support Local campaign which has been designed to encourage residents to shop locally and discover the benefits of dealing with the people who work and live locally in our community.

We are urging all Gympie residents to stop and think before shopping online or going out of town.

Researching products online is a great tool when helping consumers make a choice however a local supplier can provide you with the backup service and advice that will ensure you will be satisfied with your purchase.

We are inviting local businesses to partner with us to make this campaign which includes a six month Support Local Shopper competition and also a great prize for one lucky business to win which will be drawn tonight.

The Support Local message will receive multi media coverage in print and online.

To find out more information on how your business can become involved please call Dallas, Sharon or Ruth at The Gympie Times today on 54804 200 or email tracey.mckean@gympietimes.com.

Together we can make a difference to keep money and jobs here in the Gympie region!
