Woman critically injured in two-car crash

A YOUNG woman is in a critical condition following an accident in Brisbane overnight.

The 24-year-old woman, a passenger, was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital after the accident at Morningside.

The Forensic Crash Unit is looking into the crash, but early investigations suggest two cars collided at the intersection of Richmond and Molloy roads just after midnight.

The 22-year-old male driver of the same vehicle was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for treatment of a broken arm.

The 65-year-old driver and sole occupant of the other vehicle was taken to hospital for observation.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact police.
