Winless Cats ponder form

COMING last on the Sunshine Coast Division 3 ladder is no honour for the Gympie Cats AFL side, making the weekend’s bye a crucial time to refocus.

The Cats have been besieged by form troubles since their opening round, coming close to victory only once.

Overall, the competition is being led by Nambour and Hinterland on 28 points followed by Pomona on 20 points.

Some distance behind in third is Bribie Island, tied on 12 points with Caloundra and Maroochy/Northshore.

Pomona defeated Maroochy/Northshore 11.9-75 to 8.3-51.

Noosa was defeated by Nambour and Hinterland 6.4-40 to 26.16-172.
