Wild gorillas filmed exploring a luxury camp in Uganda

A close encounter with mountain gorillas in the wilderness is an experience to cherish. Mountain gorillas are critically endangered and there are around 800 left in the wild, mostly in Uganda and Rwanda.

To get close to them, chances are, you might have to trek for hours in the jungle but it's worth the effort as seeing them in their natural habitat is possibly one of life's most uplifting experiences.

Sunshine Coast writer and video blogger team, Christina Pfeiffer and Roger Barrett, from Traveltherenext trekked in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda recently and came face to face with gorillas after only 90 minutes of hiking. It was an amazing experience.

But the gorillas stole the show when they followed the group back to their luxury camp to spend the night.

Fortunately, they were able to capture the experience on video.Read the full story about gorillas in Uganda.
