Woman allegedly caught threatening slain husband on CCTV

THE Brisbane mother charged over the stabbing murder of her partner at Murrumba Downs was allegedly captured by her own CCTV camera threatening the man before he died, police allege.

Jean Louise Herholdt, 28, of Murrumba Downs, has been charged with the domestic violence murder of her husband Sean Murray, 32, on Thursday morning at their Burnett Drive home.

Defence solicitor Brendon Beavon appeared on the woman's behalf in the Pine Rivers Magistrates Court on Friday and the matter was adjourned until October.

Police will allege Mr Murray and Herholdt got into an argument and became involved in a physical altercation before the trained nurse stabbed her partner in the back with a 30cm kitchen knife.

It understood the pair had been together for a number of years, had two children together and were married last year.

The father of Herholdt's third child, who was staying at the property, allegedly shut the children in a bedroom at the house after seeing Mr Murray and the woman fighting, to stop them witnessing the altercation, police claim.

It will be alleged audio of the attack was caught on CCTV at the property and Herholdt allegedly demanded money from Mr Murray before threatening him.

Police also claim audio recordings show the woman telling Mr Murray to "empty" his pockets.

Police will allege Mr Murray pleaded with his wife, saying: "Stop, stop, stop" after he was stabbed in the back in the lounge room of their home.

Herholdt allegedly told her ex to call an ambulance and gave her husband first aid before being arrested.

Mr Murray died in his driveway from a single stab wound, which had punctured his lung.

Family and friends of the mother-of-three gathered outside court for her brief appearance.

Herholdt is understood to be a trained nurse, who is currently unemployed.
