WHAT'S ON: The Kandanga State School Centenary celebrations
THE Kandanga State School Centenary celebrations start Friday evening with an exhibition at the Kandanga Country Club (formally the bowls club) entitled Kandanga's School Children Over 100 Years.
The exhibition and will feature printed canvasses of photographs of former pupils and will open with a meet and greet at 5.30pm and a two-course dinner to follow.

The dance features a meal designed by celebrity chef, Mat Golinski and entertainment by Chardonnay Sippers Jazz Band.
The celebrations continue with another half day of events.
7.30am: Multi-denominational prayer breakfast at the Kandanga Hall.
10am: Kandanga Cemetery guided walk.
11am: Save the Mary Museum & Education Centre visit.
Noon: A leisurely lunch at the Kandanga Hotel.
