Calling all singers

JOIN a choir and sing some heavenly harmonies. Andrew Emmet, former chorister at Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford, UK, directs Cooloola Voices A Cappella choir (voice only) in Gympie on Tuesday evenings. Cooloola Voices have been singing for about nine years and sing mostly original popular arrangements created by Andrew. Scleroderma movie night

SUNSHINE Coast Scleroderma Support Group is hosting a movie night at Majestic Cinemas in Nambour in an effort to raise awareness and funds for research into this insidious disease which has no known cause and, as yet, no cure. Starts 5.30pm with wine and cheese followed by the movie at 7. Many local businesses have given generously to the event in the form of prizes for raffles and cheeses for the platters.
