SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 6

Widgee Markets

WIDGEE Markets will be held at the Widgee General Store from 7am-noon. Trash and treasure, fruit and veg, collectables, books, clothing, craft, bric-a-brac, odds and ends. Inquiries Lyn 5484 0102. Stallholders welcome, sites only $5. Great bargains, something for everyone. Proceeds to Widgee War Memorial Committee raising funds for 2016 Anzac Day activities.  

Long Flat dance

OLD time/new vogue dance, 7.30pm at Long Flat Hall. Popular Dance music by Cascade (previously known as Trevor Gayton and Andrea). A great night is always guaranteed when they play. Lucky door tickets, Monte Carlo and lucky spot dances and a great homemade supper. Come along and enjoy a great night of dancing while helping the Hall Committee maintain the hall. All welcome. SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 7

Museum Markets

MUSEUM Markets at the Duck Pond (Lake Alford) are held from 7am-noon on the first, third and fifth Sundays of each month (third Sunday includes the Gympie Museum Re-enactment Group). Various market stalls, including fresh produce, plants, crafts and lots more. Site bookings 5482 3995.  

Imbil Markets

EVERY Sunday, 8am-2pm. Craft, jewellery, fruit, vegetables, honey, conserves and plants. All township shops, art gallery, tea room, cafes and pub are also open. Inquiries visit the maryvalleycountry.com.au website.

Parkinsons Support Group

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 9

Dementia Support Group

THE first meeting of the Alzheimer's/Dementia Support Group for 2016 will be held at Blue Care, Smerdon Rd, at 10am. All carers, sufferers and other interested people are welcome. The group provides information, support and an opportunity to discuss issues. Morning tea is provided and confidentiality is assured. Meetings are held on the second Tuesday in February. Cancer support group

PARTNERS of men with cancer meet on the second Tuesday of the month except January and December, at Little Haven, Henry St, Gympie, at 10am. Come along for a cuppa and a chat for a caring and sharing morning.
