Waugh, Brady to join All Stars

THE Gympie Cricket Association is not consigning the hugely popular Twenty20 format of the game away to gather dust just yet.

Gympie Cricket Association president Bob Blackburn has confirmed the Gympie Offroad Gold XI cricket side will take on a composite A-grade All Stars team.

The game will be played at Albert Park from 7pm on February 27 and the Gold will be out to defend their win from last year.

“The Gold had a pretty comfortable win last year,” Blackburn said.

But the task will bemore difficult this year following news Sunshine Coast Scorchers players Josh Brady and Lewis Waugh will bolster the All Stars attack.
