WATCH: Sinkhole swallows truck
A SAN FRANCISCO driver was taking a break last week when his flat bed truck was swallowed by a sinkhole, that had opened up in the middle of the street.
Loaded with a few bags of cement and attached to a trailer carrying building equipment the truck began sinking into the pavement as the earth gave way beneath it.
Fox News reported the driver escaped injury by managing to climb out the door of the cabin to escape.

The truck however remained at a 45 degree angle as emergency service workers attempted to stabalise the sinkhole.
Officials believe the sinkhole occurred due to a weak sewer pipe under the street.
