A DRIVER has been caught on camera driving on the wrong side of the road in Gympie.

The footage capture on a dash cam and posted to the Dash Cam Owners Australia Facebook page shows a white Holden Commodore with New South Wales number plates following traffic turning from a turning lane.

But instead of turning right like the other vehicles, the Commodore veers right and then heads straight onto the wrong side of the road.

The two double lanes are divided by a median strip. The car passes a keep left sign on the corner of the median strip as it heads north in the southbound lanes.
