RUGBY UNION: And you thought the Wallabies had it tough tomorrow facing the All Blacks at a venue where they haven't won in 30 years.
In the curtain-raiser to that Bledisloe Cup match at Eden Park, the Aussie women, the Wallaroos, face the hosts, the Black Ferns - a team they have never beaten, having lost all 12 Tests dating back to 1994.
In what will be the first double-header for the two nations, the Wallaroos will field six debutants in their starting 15.
Captain Ash Hewson (pictured) said the side took confidence from a 21-19 win over the Auckland Storm earlier this week.
"It was a pretty physical game and that's good preparation for what we will get on Saturday,” she said.
"It was a real eye-opener for some of our debutants who have never faced that before. Taking on the Black Ferns at Eden Park is going to be a great challenge but the team is really excited by the opportunity to play New Zealand and we can't wait.”
