The Voice blinds part 2: Jessie J gets what she wants

THE Voice coaches are battling against the star power of Jessie J.

The British pop star got nearly everything she wanted in the second round of the reality singing show's blind auditions tonight.

NSW schoolteacher Cath Adams had one of the strongest voices so far with her rendition of Beyonce's Work It Out.

"I believe I'm the right coach for you if you want to sing songs like that," Jessie J said.

"If you want to become a better singer then pick me."

But Delta Goodrem ended up feeling like the "third wheel" when she and Jessie went on stage to be Cath's backup dancers but Jessie ended up singing along.

Finally landing their first team member, the Madden brother denied Jessie one of the singers she turned for.

Amber Nichols' soulful rendition of London Grammar's Strong inspired all four coaches.

Despite Jessie turning first and saying her voice was what she came out from the UK to find, the new mum chose the Madden brothers.

Other highlights included topless waiter Scott Newnham, who joined Team Ricky, and husband and wife duo Aviida, who chose Team Delta.

The Voice blind auditions continue tomorrow at 7.30pm on Channel 9.
