Victory has no fear of unbeaten Sky Blues

SYDNEY FC coach Graham Arnold said this week some teams are "in awe” of his unbeaten side but Melbourne Victory counterpart Kevin Muscat said his side would have no fears when the two sides clash in tonight's Big Blue.

Four wins from four games without conceding a goal has put the Sky Blues clear on top of the A-League ladder but Muscat said there was still a long way to go in the season.

Arnold did not think the Victory was one of those teams he was talking about and Muscat agreed with him ahead of tonight's game at Allianz Stadium.

"This is our third trip in four rounds out of Melbourne, Sydney have left New South Wales once, so it'll work itself in time, but at this point in time they've performed very well,” Muscat said.

"When you are top of the league you can say what you want and everyone else has got to listen. Make no mistake, we will go across there without any fear. We always maintain the belief in what we are trying to do.

"We are going to the top-of-the-table team who haven't conceded a goal, they are title favourites, FFA Cup favourites, you name it. But we still go there with no fear.”

Sydney FC will break an A-League record with a fifth clean sheet tonight. No team has gone that many games without conceding a goal in the competition's history.
