Pilot’s sky penis prank stuns locals

THIS joystick got one US Navy aviator in hot water.

Washington state residents who gazed upward Thursday during a jet fighter's acrobatics got an eyeful from skywriting that appeared to display male genitalia.

Images of the ballsy pilot's creation above Okanogan in central Washington quickly got a rise on social media.

Officials with the Naval Air Station Whidbey Island acknowledged that one of their flyers was behind the X-rated scene.

A woman who snapped pictures of the offending member told the station that she was upset she might have to explain to her young children what it was. "The Navy holds its aircrew to the highest standards and we find this absolutely unacceptable, of zero training value and we are holding the crew accountable," the Navy told KREM 2 News in a statement.

The Federal Aviation Administration said that unless the act poses a safety risk, the matter was out of their hands.

An FAA official said they "cannot police morality."

On Thursday night at The Club Sports Bar and Grill, locals shared a few chuckles about the image they'd seen in the clouds.

Ramone Duran told The Spokesman-Review that he was running errands when he looked up and noticed what looked like the start of someone trying to draw a male organ with jet contrails.

About five minutes later, he said, the drawing was complete.

"After it made the circles at the bottom, I knew what it was and started laughing," Duran said. "It was pretty funny to see that. You don't expect to see something like that."

Bartender Misty Waugh said she wasn't aware of the drawing until her 12-year-old son texted her a picture.

"I thought it was pretty funny, and so did he" she said. "A lot of people have been talking about it."
