Woman dies in bus rollover

A WOMAN has died and three passengers were transported to hospital after a mini-bus rollover at Gatton, west of Brisbane.

The female passenger, believed to be in her 20s, was ejected from the bus when it rolled into a dry creek bed, at Mount Sylvia Road at 12.20 on Tuesday. She died at the scene.

The mini-bus had nine people on board and three were taken to Toowoomba Hospital with injuries, a Toowoomba Chronicle reporter at the scene said.

It is believed the bus was carrying farm workers who were fruit picking in the area.
