Two-day drink drove him to court

"IT WAS a solid two days," Tin Can Bay fisherman Kaiiwa Lee Covey told Gympie Magistrates Court yesterday.

Covey, who had stopped drinking and then the next morning driven up from the Gold Coast, had still blown 0.176% when pulled up on the Bruce Hwy in Gympie, the Court was told.

Magistrate M Baldwin fined Covey $1100 and disqualified him from driving for 11 months.
