Truck crash leaves one dead west of Toowoomba

A MAN has died after his truck left the road and collided with a tree, west of Toowoomba. 

Police are investigating the single-vehicle traffic crash which happened at Yuleba North, between Miles and Roma, about 7.30am. 

Initial investigation suggest the truck was travelling north-east on Yuleba-Taroom Rd when it left the road and collided with a tree. 

The driver and sole occupant of the truck, a 37-year-old man from Chinchilla, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Police are appealing for any members of the public who have information in relation to this incident to contact police. 

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
