Tough touch finals

THE scene is set for a massive showdown in the A-grade Gympie Touch grand finals tomorrow night at Albert Park.

In both men's and women's, club officials are expecting very tight games.

In the men's, Smooth As Painters will take on Ag Solutions.

Smooth as Painters' Steven Grills said he was expecting a cracker of a game.

Grills will be up against fellow mixed teammate Andy Williams and the pair are expected to star for their respective teams.

Grills said the two teams are pretty evenly matched.

"It has been 50-50 all year as to who will win all year and I expect the same tonight," he said.

"We are fairly even in both age and speed."

Ag Solutions won through to the final after beating an under strength Cardinals on Wednesday night while the Painters beat Steelers in a fairly easy game 9-3.

In the women's final DYC Devils will play Charlies.
