Tots learn top teeth tips

KINDERGARTEN children from Uniting Church Child Care enjoyed a visit recently from new Gympie dentist Katie Edwards and senior dental nurse Gayle Hocking from Calton Hill Health Care.

Katie and Gayle brought toys Timmy and George (with real teeth) to help teach the children about the right way to care for our teeth.

Dental hygiene is of utmost importance and the earlier children learn how to care for their teeth the more chance they will have of keeping them healthy and hopefully reduce the common fear of dental visits.

The children were all left with a new toothbrush, some surgical gloves, mask and a dentist mirror.
