UPDATE: Tin can Bay Coast Guard help in chest injury rescue

UPDATE: Tin Can Bay Coast Guard successfully transported ambulance officers to a yacht anchored in Gary's Anchorage this afternoon where an occupant of the yacht with a suspected chest injury was treated and stabilised, and was then able to stay on the yacht.

The Coast Guard then returned the ambulance officers to shore at Tin Can Bay.

Coast Guard spokesman Phil Feldman says the chest injury could be a collapsed lung.
