Time already served

NINETEEN weeks in custody was deemed time already served for Shane Vincent Blundell, 21, when he appeared in Gympie District Court to deal with offences he committed in December, 2008.

Blundell was granted bail with strict conditions for charges of common assault, going armed to cause fear and wilful damage, which he breached on Saturday February 14, by breaking his curfew and consuming alcohol.

Blundell was remanded in custody until his September 14 court date when he was released from prison on parole.

For the public nuisance charges he was convicted and not further punished.
