Tiaro Coal testing phase two
TIARO Coal has moved onto phase two of its coal explorations in the region. This phase involves exploration and scout drilling in areas including 144 square kilometres in Tiaro, 180sqkms in Wolvi, 192sqkms in Gunalda and 399sqkms in Gootchie.
In an announcement last week the company said drilling had begun on the two-phase exploration program of 13 multi-location coal exploration targets located across 1302sqkms.
The two exploration programs comprise some 6000 metres over 40 drill holes at an average depth of 150 metres.
Analysis on the coal to test its properties and further testing extending throughout the target areas to locate coal seams will also be undertaken – including in the Munna Creek, Curra, Sexton and Toolara areas.
