Teen terror during group assault

POLICE are investigating two vicious assaults at the weekend, in one of which it is believed arrows were shot through the walls of a teen's house while she was being transported to hospital.

It is understood a 17-year-old Warwick girl was holding a party at a Rosehill Rd home she shares with a roommate on Saturday night when unwelcome guests reacted badly to being asked to leave.

Police allege four teenage girls took to assaulting the teenager - who was allegedly kicked in the head - and left her injured in her front yard after being stripped down to her underwear. She was required to be taken to hospital by ambulance.

While she was being transported to hospital it is believed two teenage boys began trashing the residence, at one point using an archery-style bow and shooting arrows into the walls.

A number of items are believed to have been stolen from the property, including an Xbox console.

It is understood the victim is one of two girls charged in relation to a head-stomping assault in Warwick in April.

Meanwhile, a CIB spokesman said a 15-year-old girl was assaulted at the corner of Wood and Wallace St in the early hours of Saturday morning.

It is believed the assault was retaliation for an ongoing dispute between the victim and another teen.
