Teen hospitalised with suspected snake bite

A TEENAGER has been taken to hospital for treatment of a suspected snake bite.

Paramedics were called to a Little Mountain home at 10.28am on Saturday.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said it was believed the 13-year-old boy had been bitten on his big toe.

The spokesman was not sure what type of snake was believed to have bitten the boy.

The teen was taken to Caloundra Hospital in a stable condition.
