Swim day great fun

SETTING personal goals and participation was the aim of Gympie South State School's annual Years 4-7 interhouse swimming carnival last Friday.

It was tremendous to see the students having fun and enjoying the atmosphere.

Coming out on top for the day was Kidd house (587 points), followed by Dean (585), Price (511) and Stumm (389).

Excelling on the day were age champions Harper Hehir, Olivia Hobson, Nathan Tomlinson, Hayley Neal, Troy Carlson, Eliza Hobson, Cameron Hanson, Jamie Mill, Illijah Smith and Jassy O'Brien.

Congratulations to Troy Carlson who was awarded the medal for the open champion and who also broke six records on the day.
