Swap meet shaping up to be huge

GLENWOOD Swap Meet just keeps getting bigger and bigger.

This year's car and bike show and charity concert is shaping up to be another huge event with highly sought-after swap sites booked solidly weeks ahead.

The award-winning event is known as the third best swap meet in the world, with more than 4000 visitors expected on Saturday, August 18.

Gates open at 7am with a variety concert starting at 8am, headlined by Atomic Cruisers winding up at 4pm.

Entry is $3, children under 12 are free.

Make the most of this family event and enjoy all the attractions. Shop, swap, enjoy the delicious food, check out the car and bike show entries, have a beverage at the bar or sit and relax under the shade marquees and listen to some of the best entertainment on the coast today.

Top off the day with rockabilly tunes and the added bonus of a rock 'n' roll dance spectacular performed by Gympie's Gold Dust Rockers.
