Police seeking man after suspicious death in Coonarr

SUNDAY: Police investigating the suspicious death of a 44-year-old man at a property on Coonarr Road, Coonarr on August 1 are appealing for public assistance.

Police believe 42-year-old Jason Errol Gerhardt, who was known to the man, may be able to assist with inquiries into the man's death.

He is described as Caucasian, with brown eyes, 178 centimetres tall with a proportionate build, fair complexion and shaven brown hair.

Jason Gerhardt has a full sleeve tattoo on his left arm and additional tattoos on his left chest and side, around his neck, left leg and thigh. He has 'GMAN' tattooed on the knuckles of his left hand and a Latin phrase tattooed on the back of his left hand.

At times, he has numerous piercings on his right ear and a right pierced eyebrow and is known to have a goatee style beard or to be clean shaven.

SATURDAY: Police are investigating the suspicious death of a middle-aged man at a property at Coonarr which is believed to have occurred at around 2am today.

Detectives and scientific officers are on scene.

An investigative centre has been established at Bundaberg Police Station.
