Striking new look for hatch
RENAULT has unveiled its all-new Clio hatch featuring the French brand's striking new design language, its first three-cylinder petrol engine and a host of high-tech features.
The fourth-generation Clio will offer a host of connectivity features via a large customisable iPad-style touch-screen inbuilt into the dash that offers access to Renault's app store.
The car will make its public debut at September's Paris motor show, and should arrive in Australia in the middle of next year with a wider range of models to rival the likes of the Volkswagen Polo and Ford Fiesta.
At the moment, the French car maker's local subsidiary sells only the highly priced, $34,990 RS200 hot-hatch version of the Clio.
Pricing is likely to be more affordable than the Polo's $16,990 (before costs) and the car will come with a five-year/unlimited kilometre warranty.
