Gympie's weight lifters going from strength to strength

WEIGHTLIFTING: Stay True Weightlifting Club president Cameron Arthur says weightlifting is going from strength to strength at the Du Reitz Court gym.

Weightlifting meets are held regularly and give lifters the opportunity to compete at a state and national level. The next Gympie meet will be held on August 22.

Arthur said the club has around 20-25 lifters with four competing at state level in the coming weeks. Telia Dennis has just come back with gold from the Queensland Masters competition in April.
