Stags welcome back key forwards

ON the back of a big win against Palmwoods, the Mary Valley Stags feel ready to take on Beachmere at Kenilworth today.

The boys are hoping for a big crowd at their home game to cheer them on.

Meanwhile Stags president Glenn Carlson said he did not want the boys to be complacent during today's match.

"This comes off a big win, we don't want to take it too easy.

"They're a big side and we want to be right on the game," he said.

"We expect a beautiful weekend."

Even though during the last round the Stags dominated Palmwoods 78-0, this week at training has been better without the rain.

And Carlson said the side would be boosted with a couple of key forwards back from beef week.
