Driver Keldoulis wins at last

GYMPIE super street speedway competitor Neil Keldoulis has capped off his season with a blaze of form to take out the Queensland Super Street Title last weekend.

The title was contested in Maryborough and after 15 years of placing well in the event, Keldoulis finally got his hands on the winner’s trophy.

The Gympie driver brushed aside concerns of wet weather to lift the title against a quality field.

Keldoulis started in seventh position and worked his way up through the field using his experience.

Finishing second was Andrew Roberts, followed by Steve Cook, Chris Pendry and Steve Thomsen.
