Serial pest break and enters

AFTER hearing many lectures from the Gympie Magistrate about changing his behaviour, Scott Ian Preitz, 21, was back before the court this week charged with breaking and entering at night with intent to commit an indictable offence.

The court heard Preitz had broken a gate hinge to get on to a Gympie property where he threatened the tenants and broke a picture frame.

“He’s going to find himself in custody at a very young age,” Snr Const Manns said.

Preitz, of Nash Road, Araluen, was placed on six months probation and ordered to pay $100 for the damage he caused.
