IT'S the 27th year of the Kilkivan Great Horse Ride - an event that is now a well-established item on the national trail riding calendar.

The Kilkivan Great Horse Ride - to be held March 31 - offers a variety of trails, over various distances.

Choices include the Hanging Rock Trail from Widgee, the Woolooga Old Coach Trail, the Tansey-Boonara Trail, the Kilkivan-Wongella Trail.

And for the carriage enthusiasts there's the thrilling Kilkivan Oakview Carriage Trail.

Organisers have planned a weekend to suit families, with overnight camping available and entertainment supplied by a number of well known artists including Steve Ford, Luella Widt, Don Costa and Neil Duddy.
