Rookie Dragon feeling embarrassed

WITH traditional powerhouses Parramatta and the Dragons sitting at the bottom of the ladder, it is no surprise NRL officials have moved Monday night's clash from ANZ Stadium to the much smaller Parramatta Stadium.

The Eels were thrashed 64-4 by the Storm last Sunday and the Dragons did not fare much better, beaten 34-18 by the struggling Wests Tigers.

Dragons centre Charly Runciman said both teams would no doubt put a lot of focus on defence at training this week.

"It's just something that we really have to work on and be good at week in, week out, otherwise we're going to get found out," he said.

"I'd say they're feeling a little bit the same as us after the weekend. It's a bit embarrassing."

Runciman, in his rookie season, said despite the team's position on the table there was still plenty to play for in the final two rounds.

"We're trying real hard to get a couple of wins to end the season on a positive note," he said.

Josh Drinkwater has replaced Craig Garvey on the bench in the only change for the Dragons.
