RODNEY the Kombi has covered some kilometres in his long life and now, beautifully restored to his former glory, the classic old van is hoping to help get you started on a journey of your own.

Named after Rod Fraser, who customised the Kombi, Rodney was a big hit with guests at the Travellers Shop's grand re-opening event last week.

To celebrate, they would love you to come in and take a selfie with Rodney, post it on Facebook and be in the running for a $200 travel voucher or a ticket to the Outback Spectacular show on the Gold Coast.

So what are you waiting for? Get your selfies in before 5pm on March 31 and you could be a winner.
