Results of survey out

THE Gympie Region Business Confidence Survey results are being launched today.

It has been produced every six months for the past two years and is proudly supported by major business groups and chambers of commerce from across the entire region.

It includes a special presentation by Daryl Conroy, financial analyst from Suncorp Bank who will be discussing the survey results in context with the broader economy.

The launch is being held at the Fossicker's Room in the Gympie Civic Centre, Mellor St from 4pm.

On Saturday the Rainbow Beach Community Hall and Library will be officially opened at 11am.

The new multi-use hall, spacious and appealing in its design and colour scheme, will provide a new entry statement and community centrepiece for the town.

It will house a number of community services as well as the council library including the Rainbow Beach Community Information and Referral Centre, which organises community and medical services.
