Ready for the rest of their lives
CAPTURING the images of the region's graduating students is always a busy time of year at The Gympie Times.
Our Formal Fever feature, which is released next Friday, showcases all of the students arriving at the formals over the past week. It is a great keepsake for the Class of 2013.
While taking photos of the hundreds of the young adults about to step in to the "real world", I can't but wonder what their futures hold.
Life has many twists and turns, but if the positive attitudes and presentation of our graduating class has anything to do with it, their futures look bright.
Many say school is the best time of their lives, it's hard to disagree, but there are so many options outside of school waiting for our young people. My advice is to grab every opportunity with both hands and don't dwell on the negatives.
