Rattler revival's first step; what's new at the old station?

THE past was present on the weekend when newly renovated the Mary Valley Rattler heritage train station reopened to the public.

While the iconic train itself is still several months away, families were given their first taste of what the heritage revival will look like on Saturday.

Families and children found themselves immersed in a world that has not only gone by, but is also coming back again as the station brought to life a wonderful mix of old and new.
