Rainbows reunion

FORMER players of the Rainbows Rugby League Football Club are being asked to come and reminisce about the old days at a reunion next year.

The reunion will take place on March 5 at Gympie Rugby League’s Jack Stokes Oval.

The reunion is being organised by Julie Gear and she is appealing for anyone with group photos to come forward to help former players from the club step back in time.

All proceeds from the bar and barbecue will be dedicated to Gympie Junior Rugby League, making the night an equally important fundraising opportunity.

Admission will be by ticket only, covering nibbles and a lucky door ticket.

The special reunion starts at 2pm, with terra tag to kick off at 3pm.

A barbecue will follow at 6pm.

Tickets are available from Sportspower Gympie from January 4.

Any queries regarding the reunion can be directed to Julie Gear on (07) 5481 1360 or by email – the4gears@bigpond.com
