Races to rock with Kevin Borich
THE Gympie Turf Club’s Zinc 96 Race Day at the end of the month will feature the legendary rocker Kevin Borich.
Boasting a professional career spanning 30 years, Borich will perform on the main stage inside The Pavilion as part of a thrilling day trackside on July 31.
Gympie Turf Club publicity officer Lee Tompkins said tickets were limited to get inside and be a part of the Borich experience.
“Numbers are limited and (a ticket) includes entry to the races, delicious food, drinks and entertainment, all overlooking the track,” she said.
Ticket holders will also enjoy access to the Zinc 96 Legends Deck, overlooking the Showgrounds and race track.
Tickets into the Borich venue cost $50 and are available now from Shoenique or by emailing the Gympie Turf Club at firstname.lastname@example.org
The opportunity to see Borich shouldn’t be missed as his career features highlights seldom achieved.
The rock star has performed at some of the biggest rock events ever held in Australia.
Meanwhile, he has supported huge international acts such as Elton John and Status Quo.
Ms Tompkins said Fashions of the Field would continue to showcase Gympie’s most fashion-forward.
“Fashions of the Field finalists from each race day go into the $3000 draw at the end of the year,” she said.
“Put on your best little back dress, or any colour, and come along.”
