EARLIER: A 81-year-old man is believed to be in a stable condition after a quad bike accident at Berat east of Allora.

The alarm was raised by a family member after the man had an accident on a property on Goomburra Rd at Berat.

The Queensland Ambulance Service is on scene along with a chopper which is likely to airlift the man to hospital.

A spokeswoman for the QAS said she hadn't been informed of the extent of the injuries but had been told he was stable.

Meanwhile, no action was required when the Queensland Fire and Emergency Service was called to a "fire" on the Cunningham Highway at Inglewood at 10.40am today.

It is understood the truck smoked a little after it was stopped and a member of the public thought it was on fire.
