Pushing the boundary
TRYING to talk to schoolgirlsover a fence got Sidney John Williams, 18, on the wrong side of the lawon August 20.
He was charged with trespassing and appeared in GympieMagistrates Court last week.
Monkland State School principal calledpolice and when officers arrived they saw Williams run across schoolgrounds and jump the fence.
His excuse was that he went to get a drinkfrom a tap after the bell rang.
Williams, of Noosa Road, Monkland, wasplaced on a good behaviour bond for nine months with a specialcondition not to go within 25 metres of a school boundary.
“You are notto loiter around schools,” the magistrate told him.
