Puppy Plebiscite: What dog best represents our pollies?

BULLDOG Bronnie or Chihuahua Tony?

If our politicians were dogs what breeds would they be?

We want you to share your canine insights with us so we can compile Australia's first kennel club of political pooches.

Forget voting in the national election, this is your chance to sway the most pawsome poll of 2016  - the Puppy Plebiscite.

Let us know the breed of dog (based on job performance, personality and looks) you think best represents Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull,  his deputy Barnaby Joyce, Foreign Affairs Minister Julie Bishop and Treasurer Scott Morrison.

We also want you to make a mongrel call on Opposition Leader Bill Shorten, senior ALP senators Penny Wong and Tanya Plibersek,

Australian Greens leader Richard di Natale and NSW and Qld premiers Mike Baird and Annastacia Palaszczuk.

And last, but not least, don't forget we'd love to know the canine characteristics that best suit prominent backbenchers Tony Abbott and Bronwyn Bishop as well.
