Pre-Prep welcomes new room

CHILDREN at the Alma Street Pre-Prep now have a new enclosed, air-conditioned room.

Pre-Prep president Rachelle Treeby said the area was a path with a couple of chairs where parents used to wait for their children.

“The beautiful new room gives them extra space for a craft area and seats where the children can eat their lunch,” she said.

Patron Helen Wilkie officially cut the ribbon to formally open the extensions that were carried out by Gordon Maudesley.

Ms Treeby said that the Alma Street Pre-Prep had applied for funding and when it was not successful, money from a term deposit was used.
