Pre-muster party session

STRAP on your guitar, put on your best dancing boots, get out your square dancing gear and head to Gympie's CBD today for another day of phenomenal Pre-Muster entertainment.

The places to catch today's entertainment include Panini's Cafe and Raffinati Restaurant, where artists will perform from 11am to 4pm.

City Centre Stage in Mary Street will pump from 10.30am to 2.30pm and Goldfields Plaza from 11am to 3pm.

Billy's Hotel manager Billy Mitchell may not be able to get to the Muster this week due to work commitments, but he has bought two country sounds to Gympie to recreate the Muster vibe today.

“I can't wait. It's going to be the best day of the year. It's going to be a great day full of quality entertainment,” Billy said.

From 1pm to 5pm, Mat Zarb will be playing at the hotel, where staff will be dressed in their best flannos, hats and boots.

Mat, who resides in Tamworth, will sing a mix of originals and classics like Red G um and Phil Collins.

Then, from 5.30pm until late, the captivating four-piece band The Bostocks will play.

So, get out and party!
